“I can’t think of anything to write (do, wear, make, say, sing, etc.).”

Remember, your brain works for you. If it hears you think or say, “I can’t,” it will try to assist you by stopping all its “inner-net” brain searches. Then you’ll really be stumped.

So, next time you feel stumped, try these steps:

  1. Ask: Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? (The Five Ws and H questions).
  2. Include the words “can” and “I” as in: “What can I…? (If you are working with others substitute “we” for “I.”)
  3. Add an action verb like: …do? …go? …ask?

Examples:
What can I do?
Where can I go?
Who can I ask?

Then, listen and enjoy your brain’s brilliant creativity. Have fun!

P.S. The “Five Ws & H” technique works with almost every think! LOL!
