Setting an example is more important than getting everything right.
Let’s be wrong—sometimes.
Let’s give in—sometimes.
Let’s listen—ALL the time.
Let’s be lovingly right—right about being loving—
Over a lifetime.
What example do we want to set?
Well—
We’ve all been aggressively truthful—Clear, but not kind.
We’ve all been passively loving—Kind, but not clear.
Perhaps—
We can be BOTH truthful and loving—clear and kind—at the same time—
Balancing aggression and passivity into a maturing clear and kind assertiveness.
Over a lifetime.
